Whilst these last few years have been ‘challenging’ with not only the Covid pandemic, but the cost of living crisis too, pets have become ever more important to people who have found them a great comfort over this time.

At PHG, we have found our services more in demand than ever, especially with the increase in dog ownership. During this summer, one of our franchisees had a record month with a turnover in excess of £6,000 alone.

A more popular development with some of our franchisees has been renting a secure field and collecting dogs in a specially equipped van to take them for recreation and play.

This is particularly ideal for those dogs who don’t have fantastic recall and can’t be let off a lead during a standard walk.

By taking place in a secure field, they get the exercise and socialisation that dogs love.

PHG is a very flexible franchise in that there are so many different services you can offer and it can be adapted to your own circumstances.

It may be that you wish to concentrate on dog boarding and daily dog creche care or you may wish to concentrate on pet visiting, dog walking and small animal boarding.  Several of our franchisees carry out many housesits.

The choice is yours, although we do recommend that a form of dog care is offered in some capacity.
