BrakeTech is a mobile mechanic service that brings automotive repairs to the customer. We did our first job back in November 2014 in a small van and a few basic hand tools and through hard work and dedication the business has grown year upon year. We have built up an excellent reputation and a large customer base within the last six years of being in business.
We specialise mainly in vehicle braking systems but we also cover other aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair like battery fitting, vehicle servicing, suspension repairs, MOT prep and presentation and most recently mobile tyre fitting.
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and believe that’s it’s the most important aspect of our business.
BrakeTech are now expanding and we have a variety of new franchise opportunities right now in several locations. If you want to join with us as we continue our expansion across the UK, we would like to hear from you.
The Benefits of Owning A Repair Service Franchise
1. Flexibility
You are in control of growing the business and making sure it is making enough profit. Being your own boss means you have the flexibility to choose your own hours. But there is a chance these will be long, as you may have to cover for employees if they’re unwell.
2. Good income
A successful business that is producing a healthy amount of profit, they can expect to earn around £45,000 in the first couple of years, and then around £50,000 after 10 years.
3. Thrive in any economic climate
When the economy is strong, auto repairers will see plenty of new and used car owners as they often offer maintenance and repairs at lower prices than auto dealerships. While in tougher markets, drivers are more likely to keep their cars for longer and choose to pay for repairs rather than a new car.
4. Not been replaced by online businesses
Many brick and mortar businesses have struggled to survive in the digital age. Shoppers across the UK can’t resist the ease, vast selection and competitive pricing that online shopping offers.
While you can easily order clothes online and have them arrive at your door the next day, at the moment cars can’t fix themselves, so customers will need to hire someone to come out and help resolve the problem.
A Braketech franchise is ideally suited to someone who has worked as a motor vehicle mechanic or a fitter and is confident with vehicle maintenance and repair.
The main jobs you need to be confident on are repair and maintenance of the entire vehicle braking systems, vehicle servicing, battery & charging systems and vehicle suspension repairs.
These are the main jobs that you will do as a Franchisee. However, you do not have to limit yourself just to these jobs, I will take on other repair work if the job can be done on the floor and I’m confident enough I can get the job done.
